Usage and billing
Understand the trial, subscription, AI capacity, file storage, and optional capacity increases.
Each site has its own subscription, usage, and capacity. Only the owner can manage billing or change capacity.
Subscription
Documentello costs $19 per month for one documentation site and includes:
- Every product feature
- Up to 100 editors
- 1× AI capacity
- 10 GB of file storage
- A custom domain
- A 14-day free trial
Billing and payment details are handled by Paddle. Open Billing and select Manage subscription to update payment details, review invoices, or manage the subscription.
AI usage
Writing suggestions and visitor assistant answers share the AI allowance. The Usage page shows the percentage used and the current capacity multiplier.
AI usage resets with the subscription period. When the allowance is exhausted, writing suggestions and visitor answers pause until the reset or a capacity increase. Search continues to work.
Storage usage
Storage includes active files and files in trash. Trashed files continue to count until they are permanently deleted.
Each storage increment adds 10 GB. You cannot reduce storage below the amount currently used.
Increase capacity
After the trial, the owner can adjust AI and storage independently from Usage:
- Additional AI capacity costs $3 per 1× each month, up to 10×.
- Additional storage costs $1 per 10 GB each month, up to 100 GB.
Documentello shows the localized price and effective billing change before confirmation.
