Create and activate a site
Create a Documentello site, choose its address and language, and activate the subscription.
Each Documentello site is one documentation project with its own pages, files, appearance, collaborators, and subscription.
Create the site
- Sign in at app.documentello.com.
- Select Create site.
- Enter a site name.
- Choose a subdomain. Your site will use
your-name.documentello.site. - Choose the default reader language.
- Select Create site.
The reader language controls built-in buttons, labels, dates, and text direction. You can change it later and override it for individual top-level sections.
Activate the site
A new site opens its Billing page. Select Continue to checkout and complete the Paddle checkout. Documentello includes a 14-day free trial.
The base subscription is for one documentation site and includes every feature, 1× AI capacity, 10 GB of file storage, and up to 100 editors. There is no per-seat charge.
Sites without an active subscription may be cleaned up after one day.
Next steps
After activation:
- Create and organize your first pages.
- Add branding under Appearance.
- Publish pages and the site when they are ready.
