Appearance and navigation
Customize branding, colors, footer links, page navigation, and the scope of search and answers.
Owners can customize the published site under Appearance and preview changes before saving them.
Branding
You can change:
- Site name
- Logo
- Square site icon for browser tabs
- Accent color
- Color scheme
The color scheme can follow each visitor's system preference or stay in light or dark mode. Adding a logo replaces the site name in the published header.
Footer links
Add up to 10 links to your main website, support, status page, policies, or other useful destinations.
Navigation modes
Choose the structure that best matches the content:
- All pages shows the complete page tree together.
- Sections with dropdown treats each top-level page as a section landing page and lets readers switch sections from a dropdown.
- Sections with top navigation places section links across the top when space allows and uses a dropdown on smaller screens.
Search and assistant scope
For section-based navigation, choose whether search and visitor answers use:
- Current section to keep products, versions, or languages separate
- All pages to find answers anywhere on the site
The homepage always searches all pages.
