Writing assistant
Ask AI to improve a selection or a whole draft while keeping control of every change.
The writing assistant suggests edits to a selection or an entire page. It never publishes changes automatically.
Improve selected text
- Select text in the editor.
- Select Improve selection.
- Describe the change you want.
- Select Suggest edit.
- Review the suggestion.
- Select Apply to draft, or discard it.
Improve the whole page
Place the cursor without selecting text, then select Improve writing in the editor toolbar. Give a focused instruction such as:
- Make these steps easier to follow.
- Shorten the introduction.
- Use a friendlier tone.
- Turn this explanation into a checklist.
You can generate another suggestion before applying it.
What is sent
The selected content, or the page body, and your instruction are sent to an AI provider to prepare the suggestion. If the draft changes while the dialog is open, close it and start again so newer edits are not overwritten.
Applied suggestions can be undone in the editor. They remain part of the draft until you publish the page.
