Feedback and conversations
Review reader ratings, comments, and visitor assistant transcripts to improve documentation.
Reader feedback and assistant conversations show where documentation is useful and where it needs work.
Page feedback
When Page feedback is enabled, readers can mark a published page or assistant answer as helpful or not helpful and may leave a comment.
Open Feedback to:
- Review the page, rating, comment, and date
- Open the related page
- Delete feedback that is no longer needed
Disabling feedback stops new responses but preserves existing ones.
Assistant conversations
Open Conversations to review questions readers asked and the answers they received. Each transcript includes the answer sources and, when available, the page where the conversation began.
Use conversations to find:
- Questions the documentation does not answer clearly
- Terms readers use instead of your internal terminology
- Pages that need better titles, descriptions, or structure
- Common tasks that deserve their own guide
Conversations remain available when the visitor assistant is disabled.
